Data Protection
Última actualización: 26 de agosto de 2026
1. Scope
This policy applies to the use of the ethercam live streaming and cloud video recording platform, including streaming servers, recordings and public rooms.
2. Content ownership
The streams and recordings you broadcast belong to you. They are private by default and only accessible by you, unless you explicitly mark them as public.
3. Dedicated infrastructure
Each streaming server is dedicated per user. Your recordings are stored on a storage volume associated with your server, not shared with other customers.
4. Data security
We implement industry-standard security measures: encryption in transit (TLS), controlled access, and isolation between customers. Keeping your server configuration (stream credentials) secure is your responsibility.
5. Public rooms
If you make a stream public, a shareable link is generated. Anyone with the link can watch the live stream. No account is required to watch. Keep this in mind when broadcasting sensitive content.
6. Prohibited uses
You may not use the platform to:
- Broadcast illegal content or content that infringes third-party rights
- Distribute material that violates privacy or data protection laws
- Broadcast harmful or hate-inciting content
- Violate the ethercam terms of service
7. Compliance
We comply with the GDPR and other applicable data protection regulations. For data requests or account deletion, contact support@ethercam.com.
