1. DMCA Compliance
Ethercam respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement submitted to our designated copyright agent.
2. Filing a DMCA Notice
If you believe your copyrighted work has been used in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please provide our designated agent with the following information: (a) A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative. (b) Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed. (c) Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it. (d) Your contact information: address, telephone number, and email. (e) A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner. (f) A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
3. Designated Copyright Agent
DMCA notices should be submitted to: legal@ethercam.com. We will review and address all valid notices within 5 business days. Invalid or fraudulent notices may result in legal liability for the submitter.
4. Repeat Infringer Policy
Ethercam will terminate the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers of copyright. A repeat infringer is a user who has been notified of infringing activity more than twice.
5. Counter-Notification
If you believe that material you submitted was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification containing: your physical or electronic signature, identification of the removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake, and your contact information. We will forward valid counter-notifications to the original complainant.
